About Me
SaraAnn Staley, MSW, LIMHP, LCSW
I am a licensed certified master social worker and licensed independent mental health practitioner. I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in social work from UNO’s Grace Abbott School of Social Work. I started working in social work in 2010 and have worked in array of areas including child welfare, domestic violence, sexual assault, eating disorders, and mental health therapy.
I currently work doing outpatient mental health therapy in Omaha with clients who struggle with self harm, chronic suicidal ideation, and a Borderline Personality Disorder diagnosis. My training with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) makes me uniquely qualified to help clients struggling with these issues.
As a social worker, I believe clients know themselves best so I work to keep goals client focused and encourage clients to help steer our sessions as well as always assess how treatment is progressing.
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, and our cat. I also enjoy baking, attending local farmer’s markets, and planning home projects.
